Cuthbertson High School junior softball player Haley Seering has been named the Union County Student Athlete of the Week, Powered by Huntington Learning Center.   Haley plays first base for the Cavaliers.  Softball runs deep in the Seering family according to Haley.

“Softball has always run through my family, with my mom playing through college and my oldest sister (Ashley) also playing through college. I watched my mom coach my sister for many years and went to many games and I fell in love with the sport and started playing at the age of nine and have been wearing the number 10 all eight years.”

Haley is providing leadership as a junior for her team that is void of any seniors.  She has set high goals for herself this spring.
“My goal for this spring is to hopefully become one of the top players in the conference with also the goal to be the best teammate for every girl on my team.”

Haley approaches academics with a very workman like attitude.  She focuses on getting the job done and strives for good grades.  Haley is part of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Cuthbertson.  Congratulations to Haley Seering for being named the Union County Student Athlete of the Week, Powered by Huntington Learning Center.
