Providence Day School tenth grader Marissa Hart has been named the winner of the Karsey Glass Breakout Star of the
Week Award. The 15 year old daughter of Greg and Sarah Hart is a center midfielder for the Chargers Soccer Team. With
a resume of success to date, Marissa has been able to verbally commit to Princeton University as only a sophomore.
Marissa’s favorite soccer memory was winning the State Cup with her 13U Soccer Team. Other achievements include
being chosen for the ECNL Player Development Program and being selected as an ECNL player to watch in the
Mid-Atlantic Region.

Inside the classroom Marissa carries a 4.0 grade point average and she is enrolled in AP courses. She works hard to manage
her time and succeed in the classroom and soccer field.

“I’ve learned to manage my time by balancing homework load, time with family and friendsissue249hart
and sleep so I’m able to practice and compete at my best.”

Marissa is a member of the Charger Ambassadors SOS Club and a Special Olympics volunteer.
